CHRIS MITCHELL

2010 GA HEAD COACH

Coach Chris is from Baton Rouge and grew up playing for the Baton Rouge Soccer Association.  He graduated from Baton Rouge High school in 1989 and received a scholarship to play collegiately at Butler University.  He began coaching club and high school soccer upon graduation in 1993 in Indiana.  After several years, Coach Chris moved back to Baton Rouge in 1998 and has been the head coach at BRHS (3 years) and University High (2001-present); along with coaching multiple competitive girls and boys teams from U5 through U19. 

Chris is married to Angie Mitchell and they have three girls:  Sophia (07), Savannah (09), Summer (19).
