JOAN OLIVA

Coach Joan Oliva is a native of Barcelona, Spain who currently serves as the Technical Director for Lafayette Dynamo Juniors. Oliva is well-cultured in the game having coached on all five continents spread across twelve different countries. He previously served as the Youth Coach at FC Barcelona before moving onto head coaching duties with CD Primeiro d’Agosto and Domant of the Angolan First Division.

As a coach, Oliva has a league championship in Division 1 with the U19 squad. He also secured a 2020 Gulf Coast Premier League Fall Championship as head coach of Louisiana Krewe FC. In addition to coaching, Oliva has an incredible eye for talent serving as a scouting professional in the 2nd division in Spain.

Oliva holds a UEFA PRO License, the highest European license attainable.
