Bobby Velasquez is the Director of Coaching for Girls and a staff coach for the Louisiana Fire Soccer Club. He also leads the club as Academy Technical Director.  He is the Director of Soccer at St. Martin’s Episcopal School and previously served as the assistant head soccer coach at Benjamin Franklin High School for two seasons, where he helped lead the girls’ varsity team to win the State Championship in 2016. 


His club teams have won numerous local, state, and regional championship victories. Velasquez has earned licenses with the Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA), as well as with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS). Velasquez, a native Honduran whose father played for his country’s national team, grew up playing locally for the Lafreniere Soccer Club select squads; he then moved on to play at the state and collegiate levels.
