Soccer in Louisiana will take the next step in the fall of 2021 with the new LATDP Elite program. The purpose of LATDP Elite is to provide boys and girls with the opportunity to play with and against the best players and teams in the country under the direction of highly qualified coaches. Boys and girls in the U13 to U19 age groups who are ready to take on the next stage of their development are invited to try out at each of the LATDP Elite hub locations in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lafayette.

This fall, the LATDP Elite boys teams (U13 - U19) will compete in a National League unlike any Louisiana has ever experienced. This league will allow the elite players in the state to compete against the top players and teams in the region and country. It will also afford players a greater prospect for identification among coaches and scouts at some of the highest levels of play.

The LATDP Elite girls program (U13 - U19) will be a collaborative select team in the above age groups that will train regularly in addition to the players' club teams. Players will attend nationally recognized college showcase events and play competitive games versus Girls Academy and ECNL teams.

Tryout dates for U13 boys and girls LATDP Elite teams will take place on May 16th in Baton Rouge. Dates for U14 to U19 age groups will also take place in Baton Rouge in late June.
